When does K’Sante “The Pride of Nazumah” release?

K’Sante “The Pride of Nazumah” will be released November 3rd, 2022 and available to play.  K’Sante is being released looking like he is supposed to be a tankier top player but let’s look at an ability rundown and see what might make him a viable support as well. With a kit that gives the champions multiple dashes and map displacements, a max health true damage ability and shields K’Sante is looking like a champ that may not need much gold to be impactful and with his dashes and map displacements could be a key engagement tool in the support role.

K’Sante Ability Overview:

Passive – Dauntless Instinct

K’Sante’s damaging abilities mark enemies hit for a short duration. Attacking a marked enemy consumes the mark to deal damage plus max health physical damage.

All Out: Attacking a marked enemy instead deals physical damage and additional max health true damage.

Q – Ntofo Strikes

K’Sante slams his weapon, dealing physical damage in a small area around him and briefly Slowing targets hit. If an enemy is hit, K’Sante gains a stack for a short duration. At 2 stacks, K’Sante instead fires a shockwave that Pulls enemies

All Out: This ability’s cooldown is reduced and no longer slows targets hit.

W – Path Maker

Begin Charging: K’Sante raises his weapons defensively for a short duration, becoming Unstoppable, and reducing incoming damage.

Release: K’Sante rams forward, dealing a percentage of max health physical damage, Knocking Back, and Stunning enemies he passes through for a short duration based on charge time.

All Out: This ability’s cooldown is refreshed, the damage reduction is increased, it deals an additional amount of physical damage based on charge time, and the charge and dash speed are doubled.

E – Footwork

K’Sante dashes, gaining a shield for a short duration. If dashing to an ally, the distance is significantly increased and they are also Shielded. Other spells can be cast during this ability.

All Out: This ability’s dash speed is increased. Dashing to a targeted location has increased range and can go over walls.

R – All Out

K’Sante shatters his ntofos, dealing physical damage and Knocking Back an enemy champion. Enemies that hit a wall will take a greater amount of physical damage, are Knocked Back over the wall, and are briefly Stunned. K’Sante then dashes after the enemy and goes All Out for an extended duration.

All Out K’Sante loses a percentage of max health, bonus armor, and bonus magic resistance. K’Sante gains attack damage, omnivamp, and transforms his abilities.

Patch 12.21 Nerfs and Buffs

Image via Riot Games

This being a patch during League’s World’s competition it makes sense and Riot acknowledges that this will be a light patch.  They specifically call out nerfs to BelVeth, Miss Fortune and Blitzcrank. Buffs to Arhi, Malzahar, Corki, and Xin Zhao and an Adjustment to Ornn.

Arhi Buff – Q mana cost decreased, AP ratio increased.

Malzahar Buff – E can now execute minions.

Corki Buff – Health growth increased, AD growth increased.

Xin Zhao Buff – Passive third hit bonus damage AD ratio increased, heal AP ratio increased. E cooldown decreased.

Belveth Nerf – E cooldown increased. Void Remora health decreased.

Miss Fortune Nerf – E AP ratio increased, initial slow decreased, slow AP ratio increased. R AP ratio increased.

Blitzcrank (Jungle) Nerf – Base health decreased, base armor decreased. W attack speed decreased.

Ornn Adjustment – R updated. Now a 60% slow at all ranks (Which is already was due to bugs)

Competitive Changes

In another good move Riot is finally updating the remake feature which was previously available at 3 minutes so that remake is now available at 1:30-3:00 minutes with a maximum of 30 seconds for the team to vote and approve the remake.  This is another great adjustment in order to reduce the time that ranked players are trapped in queue with a troll who AFK’ed and is ruining the game experience and time for the entire team. It remains to be seen if the bug where a user connects and leaves preventing a remake will be adjusted along with this update as well.

Empyrean Skins

The other big release this patch is Empyrean Skins K’Sante getting his first batch of skins and some cool chromas to go along with it. Other champions with Empyrean skins include Pyke, Jax, Jhin, Lux, Vex, Zac and Zed. These look pretty cool and all have a range of dark themed neon Empyrean skins that will be available to tear up the rift and leave your friends and foes on the rift jealous of your new look!
